Student/Staff Recognition Night

Tonight, several cadets were recognized for their outstanding work by a staff member. Commander Jordan was also given an award. The pictures are posted for download, (click here).

Colonel Theisen Visit

Colonel came yesterday and we had a nice potluck. The turnout was great and included cadets from the class of 2006, about 10 of them. Overall, we probably had about 30 cadets and several parents. It was a nice for colonel to catch up on what’s happening in our unit.

PRT

We had our Physical Readiness Test today.  Although we didn’t meet the 100% pass rate goal, everyone went out, did their best, and came back tired.  

Change of Command

Today, Cadet Seaman Martini was advanced to Chief Petty Office and will be 1st Platoon’s MPO for the rest of the year.  Cadet Chief Petty Office Alexa Peters, who was Mustering Petty Officer, is now the company Senior Chief.

Padres Color Guard

We just got home from the Padres game (currently in 17th inning) after spending a nice evening watching the game.  The color guard went very well and everybody had a good time.  If you have an interest in doing a Padres color guard, talk to the team commander.
